Lubricating and moisturizing drops that soothe the symptoms of ocular irritations, dryness and tiredness. They provide an excellent hydratation and lubrication. Can be used whether you wear contact lenses or not. Contains an active component naturally present in the eye, sodium hyaluronate, that provides additional and long-lasting comfort. Osmotic concentration of 300mOsm/L. Viscosity: 5-7cp

Lacrifresh Moisture solution contains a combination of elements which make it effective:

Sodium chloride: gives tonicity to the solution

Buffer: adjust the pH so that it is similar to that of the eye.

Sodium Hyaluronate: a lubricating agent.

EDTA: helps eliminate the calcium deposits.

Polyhexanide: a preservative agent (only in multidose format).

PROPIERTIES OF SODIUM HYALURONATE

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural bio-polymer found in the vitreous humour of the eye.

Great water absortion capacity which means an excellent moisturizing action.

Bio-adhesive and mucomimetic propierties: adheres to the mucine layer of the tear creating a resistant shield that prevent evaporation.

Viscoelastic properties: combines the elastic properties of a solid with the viscous capacity of a liquid (check ilustration).
